Very Quick Homemade Pizza

Hello y’all! This recipe is a staple in my house! I honestly think I make it at least once a month. What can I say, I love pizza! It can almost beat pizza delivery on the time front and tastes homemade and you can add whatever toppings you are craving!!! Plus you know what is going into it so you can make it a little healthier than the delivery pizza, and cheaper. Whoowhoo! Winning on all fronts here!

I love whipping it up if we are having unexpected (or expected) company, as it is always a crowd pleaser! The pizza I made this time was simply cheese as it was unexpected company and I didn’t have pepperoni on hand, but I often will do a pepperoni one, a chicken and ranch, or a barbeque one! It is so much fun to mix it all up and try new flavors. We even did a hamburger pizza once! You fry up ground beef and top it over a regular cheese pizza and cut up dill pickle slices for the finishing touch! It does actually resemble a hamburger. It tastes soo soo good! Great, now I am craving that….

Anyways, this pizza is so ridiculously easy and delicious I highly recommend trying this next time you have a crowd instead of grabbing the phone and ordering. Lets go over the directions so you can see just how simple and quick this is!

Recipe from Allrecipes.com

INGREDIENTS:

♥ 3 cups all-purpose flour

♥1 tbs white sugar

♥ 1 (.25 ounce) package of active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)

♥ 1 tsp of salt

♥ 1 cup of warm water

♥ 2 tbs of vegetable oil (I use olive)

DIRECTIONS:

Gather ingredients. Place water, sugar, oil and yeast in a bowl. Gently mix until yeast is dissolved. Let sit for 5 minutes. Combine all the rest of ingredients and mix until dough comes together.

Turn the oven up to 375 and let dough rest while oven preheats. Roll dough out and top with desired ingredients and bake for 20-25 minutes or until crust is lightly browned and cheese is completely melted.

Enjoy!
